Harvey Rosenblum, MD, FACS
Dr. Harvey Rosenblum is a board-certified ophthalmologist with decades of surgical experience and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He joins NY LASIK as part of the practice’s expansion through the Rosenblum Eye Centers acquisition, and treats patients throughout NYC, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. He continues the same high standard of care his patients have relied on for years.
Dr. Rosenblum’s academic path began with a Bachelor of Science from New York University, followed by graduate study in the sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to earn his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. That combination of research and clinical training continues to inform how he approaches each patient’s care.
Dr. Rosenblum holds a Senior Attending Surgeon position at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and teaches as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in addition to his work at NY LASIK. He is board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and belongs to several professional medical societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Rosenblum’s surgical training spans several areas of ophthalmology. He performs cataract surgery, LASIK, and other laser vision correction procedures. He also treats glaucoma and a variety of corneal conditions, including keratoconus. He brings training in eyelid and reconstructive surgery, known clinically as oculoplastic surgery, treating both functional and cosmetic concerns. Patients considering any of these procedures benefit from the breadth of his clinical background.
Dr. Rosenblum takes the time to explain every diagnosis and treatment option in clear, understandable terms. He believes patients make informed decisions when they fully understand their options, and he is committed to providing the same attentive, individualized care that has defined his career.
