LASIK grant questions
How much is LASIK with the Clear Vision Grant?
The grant price is $2,950 for both eyes ($1,475 per eye), compared with standard pricing of $5,900 for both eyes ($2,950 per eye). The offer applies to eligible LASIK patients and is limited to the first 50 patients who qualify for LASIK treatment. Ask the coordinator to confirm availability and your written treatment quote.
Does the grant include Contoura or SMILE?
No. Contoura® Vision LASIK (topography-guided LASIK) and SMILE are excluded from the Clear Vision LASIK Grant. The 50% discount and advertised $2,950 price for both eyes apply to eligible LASIK treatment only. Contoura and SMILE have separate pricing; ask your coordinator for a written quote.
Does applying reserve a grant or approve me for LASIK?
No. The online form starts a conversation with NY LASIK. A coordinator confirms program availability and next steps; an eye examination determines whether LASIK is appropriate. Submitting a request does not guarantee a place or surgical eligibility.
Is this a cash grant?
The Clear Vision LASIK Grant is NY LASIK’s way of giving back during challenging financial times: a 50% discount toward LASIK for the first 50 patients who qualify for treatment. It is not a cash payment. The advertised savings apply to LASIK; other vision correction procedures have separate pricing.
What is included, and are there extra costs?
The advertised offer is for LASIK with Dr. Bley. Contoura® Vision LASIK and SMILE are excluded from the grant and have separate pricing. Before booking, request a written breakdown of the procedure, evaluation, follow-up visits, medications and any other charges. The Lifetime Assurance Plan has a separate enrollment fee of $500 per eye and additional conditions; it is not included in the advertised $2,950 price.
Am I a LASIK candidate if I have astigmatism or dry eyes?
Some people with astigmatism qualify for LASIK. Your prescription, corneal measurements and overall eye health determine eligibility. Dry eye needs careful assessment because LASIK can worsen it. Your surgeon may recommend treatment first or discuss an alternative.
Will I still need glasses after LASIK?
You may. LASIK can reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses, but results vary and no specific visual outcome is guaranteed. Reading glasses may still be needed as your eyes age. Discuss glare, halos, dry eye and other potential complications with your surgeon.
Can I request a consultation in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens?
Yes. Choose your preferred NY LASIK location on the form: Manhattan at 160 E 56th Street, Brooklyn at 1301 Avenue J, or Queens at 98-14 65th Avenue in Rego Park. The coordinator will confirm appointment details and where your evaluation and procedure would take place.
